Assistant Principal Wendy Scott (North)

I believe that, as educators, we have the power, each day, to change a life.  This is why I chose to teach middle school. While elementary teachers often connect so strongly with their students and those students, in turn, adore their elementary teachers, middle school is a different reality.  As a middle school teacher for 18 years, my predominant goal, was to bring a positive surrounding to my students each day and help them discover themselves, be confident in themselves and take care of one another.

I was lucky enough to move to Bradford in 2015, as an Instructional Coach and Dean.  At Bradford, we are so lucky to have an amazing staff of educators, supportive parent community and devoutly loved students.  I still have the same goals as an administrator. I hope to positively impact everyone I come into contact with and leave every person with a sense of hope, confidence and kindness.

I grew up in Jefferson County and it is truly home.  I attended Dutch Creek, Ken Caryl and Columbine High School.  I moved on to Colorado State for my higher education, where my two step-sons now attend as well.  These two young men, along with my 10 year old are what inspire me and keep me laughing each day. My fourth child, my husband, is also a middle school teacher, and often acts like a middle schooler himself.  They all keep me very busy, but in my free time I travel as much as possible, hike, bike everywhere, and enjoy yoga and reading.
